Product description

Soft light, aimed exactly where you want it

The Cupola wall light is a flat aluminium half dome that directs its light softly down onto the wall. Because the shade rotates 360°, you can point the beam down, to the side or up. Next to the bed, in the hallway or at the front door, it looks calm and understated.

Key features

  • 360° rotating shade: choose the direction of the light yourself
  • Soft light output: glare-free, warm light on the wall with high colour accuracy (CRI over 90)
  • Compact aluminium housing: minimalist, only 6.3 cm deep
  • Also for outdoors: the hardwired version is rated IP65, for front entrances, patios and bathrooms
  • Hardwired or battery: permanently installed, or cordless with a magnetic wall mount

Hardwired or battery: which suits you?

  • Hardwired: as a permanent reading light by the bed, a wall light in the hallway or outside at the entrance. We recommend having it fitted by a qualified electrician.
  • Battery: ideal for rented flats and walls without a power point: self-adhesive magnetic mount, up to 10 hours of light at full brightness. Only suitable for dry indoor spaces.

Frequently asked questions

Everything you need to know about the Cupola.

How is the Cupola fitted?

The Cupola comes in two versions. The hardwired version is connected to the mains, and we recommend a qualified electrician for that. The battery version needs no wiring at all: you only fix it to the wall. Choose the version above.

Do I need to buy a bulb for the Cupola?

No. The Cupola has a built-in LED (10 W, 710 lm (hardwired)), so there is no bulb to buy or change. It works straight away once it is connected.

What kind of light does the Cupola give?

Light colour of the Cupola: Warm white (2700 K).

For living rooms and bedrooms, warm white feels the cosiest. Neutral or daylight white suits hallways, kitchens and work areas. More in Which colour temperature suits which room?
